Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located at a pediatric trauma center specializing in acute care for critically ill children. This role involves floating between units as needed and requires experience in pediatric critical care. The position is schedule for day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 11/30/2026 and ending on 03/01/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of pediatric ICU experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, experience with cardiopulmonary management, ventilator management, and telemetry monitoring.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates must include responses to previous experience at Providence facilities. Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) from the last 3 years are required.
