Program Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Program Manager in Oakland, CA.Summary:The Program Manager will oversee vegetation and tree management within Company's watershed areas, ensuring the safe and efficient removal of hazardous trees and vegetation. This role involves coordinating inspections, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Program Manager processes approximately 2,000 hazardous tree removals annually and aims to increase capacity. The Manager will use SAP work management and GIS tools to track progress, manage workflows, and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and in compliance. This role requires a strong field presence, with travel across Company's service territory (Shasta to Fresno), working closely with O&M teams to maintain watershed integrity and minimize wildfire risks.Duties/Day to Day Overview:* Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions, plan and goals* Works independently on most issues* Provides direction on overall program plan and goals* Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan* Communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management* Develops budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address* Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insightRequirements* Instrumentation experience* Experience in Excel* A team playerJob TypeContractCompensation80 - $90
