Loss Control Field Inspector (Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY)

Majestic Service Company has been in business since 1962. We are seeking hard working individuals to conduct onsite property and liability loss control inspections. We are a Nationwide Inspection Company seeking candidates with at least 3 years of experience in the insurance inspection industry (or related field). Candidate must have knowledge in construction classifications (ISO classes 1-6), general liability, property hazards, and square footage calculations. Requirements Include A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an independent contractor providing insurance-related loss control or relevant experience in the inspection/insurance field A basic knowledge of commercial property and liability insurance Great time management skills, ability to create your own schedule Great writing skills, ability to summarize inspection into a report A PC with a high-speed internet connection and PC knowledge, a digital camera, a reliable vehicle, a cell phone and self-motivation Responsibilities Contact the policyholder and schedule the inspection, drive to inspection site Complete onsite inspection, providing clear digital photos Identify property and liability hazards Write up report, complete relevant forms, and upload photos through Majestic's online portal Familiarize yourself with varying client requirements Inspection rates are agreed upon ahead of the inspection.
