About the Role:

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a productive, compliant, and positive workplace environment within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and legal requirements. The manager will lead initiatives related to employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and affirmative action policies. By fostering effective communication and fair disciplinary procedures, the role supports both employee satisfaction and organizational performance. Ultimately, the Human Resources Manager ensures that HR operations run smoothly, contributing to a motivated workforce and a strong organizational culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and affirmative action requirements.
• Proven experience in employee relations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage disciplinary procedures and enforce HR policies effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR.
• Experience working in a multi-state or national organization within the United States.
• Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
• Advanced training or coursework in employment law or labor relations.
• Experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage human resources policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state labor laws.
• Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee programs.
• Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and facilitating resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with affirmative action plans and maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.
• Lead disciplinary procedures and performance management processes to support employee development and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and workforce planning.
• Provide guidance and training to HR staff and management on employment law and best practices.
• Monitor HR operations to improve efficiency and employee experience.
