Financial Analyst

Are you a data whiz who speaks the language of both Finance and Healthcare? Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a DFW Top 100 Employer, is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to serve as a key architect in our financial reporting and productivity functions. In this role, you won't just move data—you will interpret it, reconcile it, and provide the insights that drive operational excellence across our hospital network. Reporting directly to the VP of Productivity & Accounting , you will bridge the gap between complex data sets and actionable financial strategy. What You’ll Do Data Integrity & Management: Manage the monthly upload of financial trial balances and statistics into the IBM Planning Analytics tool, ensuring 100% accuracy between Cognos and GL balances. Productivity Analysis: Maintain master tables in EPRS and analyze biweekly labor results in UKG , developing action plans to help hospitals staff more efficiently. Strategic Support: Partner with the SVP of Strategic Analysis to build service line profitability models and narrative reports that influence executive-level decision-making. Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted advisor to hospital accounting teams, streamlining data requests and resolving variances with a collaborative approach. Compliance & Reporting: Complete annual government surveys and maintain rigorous standards for PHI (Protected Health Information) security. Who You Are Analytically Minded: You have a "detective" mindset when it comes to reconciling data and identifying variances. Technically Savvy: You are proficient in SQL (writing reports/queries) and have experience with Cognos , IBM Planning Analytics, or similar BI tools. Healthcare Expert: You understand hospital revenue cycles, trial balances, and the unique terminology of the healthcare industry. Detail-Oriented: You thrive in high-volume environments and take pride in the accuracy of your financial models. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Finance or Accounting . Technical Skills: Advanced Excel & financial modeling; experience with SQL queries and BI tools (Cognos preferred). Communication: Ability to present complex financial findings to leadership and external clients clearly. Why Join CHC?
