Treasury Financial AnalystImmediate need for a Treasury Financial Analyst for a position in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 6+ month's contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Plano, TX. Please review the job description below:Key Responsibilities:Ensure confirmations for debt, derivatives, and ABS are metFacilitate delivery and settlement of Investment purchases by working with CounterpartiesEnsure daily CSA confirmations are confirmed with external Counterparties and processed in systemContacting counterparties – worldwide banks – when issues arrive or team not getting a response, following up, negotiating, etc.Researching, resolving issues, document process and proposal solutionsCompiling and maintaining desktop procedure documentationKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Bachelor degreeDaily Operations and confirmation experience (hands-on)Familiarity with debt products (ABS, etc.)Strong attention to detailMust be able to prioritize daily tasks, and make good decision to move team in right directionWillingness to learn, go-getter attitude a must, very organizedMust be willing to work on everything from simple daily data entry to higher-level workStrong verbal communication skills (talking with internal and external counterparties daily)Must be able to negotiate, and be firm but friendlyAdvanced Excel – must know pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting, and formulasTeam-orientedAble to multi-task and remain focus under pressurePreferred/ Nice-to-haves: Experience in Treasury is preferredWorking knowledge of short term investment productsWall Street Suite is a BIG plusBloomberg a plusOur client is a leading Banking & Financial Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
