What You'll Do

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll support the Corporate Accounting team by helping ensure financial transactions and records are processed accurately and efficiently.

* Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions
* Track and record payments and deposits
* Maintain accurate financial records for assigned stores
* Assist with monthly account reconciliations
* Support accounting projects and assemble financial information for audits
* Prepare reports and financial information for management
* Complete scanning, billing, and other day to day accounting functions
* Research and resolve account discrepancies as needed
* Work closely with the Corporate Accounting team and store personnel
* Assist the Controller and Accounting team with additional projects as needed

What We're Looking For

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong time management and communication skills
* Analytical and comfortable working with financial information
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Microsoft Excel experience strongly preferred
* Experience with VLOOKUP and PivotTables preferred
* Previous accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is a plus
* Positive, can do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to meet applicable pre employment requirements in accordance with company policy and applicable law

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
