Our client seeks a Cloud Engineer to support Identity and Access Management within a Cyber line of business. The role focuses on building integrations with SaaS products, optimizing microservices, and maintaining critical SaaS tooling. The team values strong AWS expertise, DevOps practices, and programming in Python or Scala. The engagement is fully remote during Eastern Time business hours with a single interview round anticipated. The assignment runs through September 30, 2027, with potential extension and no conversion.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with enterprise SaaS products.
• Optimize and support microservices used across the organization.
• Implement and support IAM controls and related workflows.
• Collaborate with a hybrid NYC-based team while working remotely on EST hours.
• Operate and improve critical SaaS and internal tooling.
• Leverage generative AI tools such as Claude or Windsurf as applicable.

Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong AWS expertise focused on services and integration patterns.
• Hands-on DevOps experience supporting cloud platforms and services.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Background in enterprise SaaS integration work.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts and controls. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus, not required.
