Overview: Hixen Search Group is seeking an experienced prevailing wage professional for a permanent position with a reputable construction company near Canal Winchester, OH (Southeast Columbus). This person will be one of two associates specializing in prevailing wage and report directly to the accounting manager. Responsibilities: Collect and review all needed documents from sub-contractors and make sure rates are in accordance by rule Handling multiple projects and multiple sub-contractors per project (about 30-40 projects at any given time) Compile and deliver a monthly packet regarding all prevailing wage work to company clients Ad-hoc projects when needed, working closely with the payroll team and leadership Why This Opportunity: Well-respected company in construction space - long standing stable company known for employee retention Excellent work/life balance and flexibility Long-tenured leadership with great culture Ownership of responsibilities with no micro-managing Desired Candidate Profile: 1+ years of Prevailing Wage experience is required In depth knowledge of what information is required to be obtained from sub-contractors, and the ability to work directly with them to obtain this information Ability to handle a large volume of communication via email Any process improvement experience is a plus - Ideally a proactive individual who is willing to present new ideas on completing work more efficiently Job Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr Hixen Search Group
