Strategic Cloud Deal Consultant

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Strategic Deal Consultant to design and structure complex, high-value cloud deals that accelerate AWS growth initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and product teams to craft compelling, data-driven proposals for strategic customers. You will analyze customer requirements, build pricing and ROI models, and recommend commercial structures that balance customer outcomes with AWS objectives. You will guide negotiations, prepare executive-ready analyses, and capture best practices to improve deal velocity and quality in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and structure complex, high-value AWS cloud deals for strategic growth initiatives
• Partner with sales, finance, legal, and product teams to craft competitive proposals
• Analyze customer requirements and design scalable, cost-optimized AWS solutions
• Develop pricing, ROI models, and business cases for executive decision-making
• Negotiate commercial terms to align customer outcomes with AWS objectives
• Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities in target segments
• Provide deal strategy guidance and coaching to account teams
• Use data and market insights to refine deal structures and playbooks
• Support executive reviews with clear analyses, risks, and recommendations
• Document best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of deal processes
