TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU/Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cardiac drip management experience (titrate and manage is a hardstop requirement) - Ability to float to Tele or Med-Surg floors if overstaffed - Weekend coverage every other weekend Description: PCU/Stepdown RN position available. Ideal candidates have one year of PCU or Stepdown experience. Nurses must have experience managing and titrating cardiac drips. Candidates may choose one holiday between Thanksgiving or Christmas but not both. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5. For scheduling, there are no block schedules. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Floats may be required to nearby units if overstaffed. Travelers should be comfortable floating between different units. This is a teaching hospital with an emphasis on interdisciplinary support. The unit primarily treats adult and geriatric patients with cardiac-related diagnoses. Additional responsibilities may include managing various medical equipment and protocols. Candidates must be prepared to submit references covering the past year. This role involves working within a supportive team environment. Candidates should have a solid understanding of various nursing procedures specific to PCU/Stepdown nursing.
