About the Role:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Better Healthcare Services LLC, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Join our dedicated team in Springfield, VA, and make a meaningful impact in your community while enjoying a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as needed.
- Document client progress and report any changes to the care team.
- Encourage social engagement and participation in community activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals for optimal care.
- Adhere to all company policies and state regulations regarding client care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client welfare.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training programs.
- Flexible schedule and availability for various shifts.
