Position Summary

The Pipeline Integrity Field Supervisor leads and supervises safe, efficient execution of pipeline integrity projects. Approximately 80% of work supports PL Testing’s integrity projects service line, with periodic requirements to assist on callout hydrotesting services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assigned field personnel, technicians, drivers, and subcontractors, as applicable.
• Plan and conduct daily pre-job meetings, tailgate safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and task assignments.
• Enforce PL Testing safety procedures, customer site requirements, applicable work instructions, and stop-work expectations.
• Lead turnkey pipeline-integrity project execution, including pigging, filling, pressurization, monitoring, dewatering, drying, and final demobilization activities.
• Coordinate project activities with customer representatives, inspectors, contractors, vendors, and PL Testing management.
• Review job scope, identify personnel, equipment, material, and logistical needs, and communicate changing job conditions or potential scope changes promptly.
• Complete equipment-readiness inspections, pre-mobilization checklists, project mobilization, and jobsite setup activities.
• Direct the safe rig-up and rig-down of hydrostatic testing equipment, including pumps, hoses, manifolds, test gauges, recorders, temperature elements, and pressure-safety equipment.
• Oversee the safe operation, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and accountability of assigned rotating equipment, vehicles, trailers, tools, and testing components.
• Conduct or oversee gauging, caliper, cleaning, and inline-inspection support activities, including pig launching and receiving, as applicable to the project scope.
• Monitor project progress, equipment performance, pressure and temperature data, field conditions, and crew productivity.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily reports, testing documentation, pressure charts, calibration records, customer-required forms, and turnover packages.
• Coordinate post-project closeout, including equipment return, yard organization, repair identification, maintenance follow-up, final documentation, and lessons learned.
• Maintain a professional, responsive, customer-service-oriented presence at all times.
• Perform other duties consistent with the role and project requirements.
