Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse) - PCU

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PCU is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will be responsible for managing the care of adult patients with varying diagnoses including cardiac, med/surg, dialysis, cancer, vascular, sepsis, respiratory, stroke, post stent, post pacer placement, and renal failure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide care for patients with acute medical conditions.
• Titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin.
• Interpret and manage telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Competency in managing arterial lines.
• Experience interpreting telemetry strips.
