Make an impact supporting elementary-aged students as a Special Education Teacher in a Cross Categorical Resource program. What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working in elementary education
• Strong background with cross- categorical/resource teaching
• Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance
• Ability to develop and adapt lessons to meet various student needs
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with colleagues and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive classroom environment

In this role, you will:

• Provide small group and individual instruction to students in the resource program
• Develop and implement specialized lesson plans based on student IEPs
• Monitor student progress, documenting and reporting on growth
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development when needed
• Ensure a supportive, respectful classroom atmosphere for all learners
• Engage with families to maintain open lines of communication

This position is full-time, requiring 35 hours per week onsite. The assignment begins as soon as possible, offering a rewarding schedule aligned with the school calendar.
