Rental Coordinator

A Rental Coordinator assists in the scheduling of a job and forwards information onto a salesman for a site visit. The Rental Coordinator usually works under limited supervision and expected to work as long as necessary to perform his/her job responsibilities.


Responsibilities:

• Assists the salesman with quotes and job scheduling.
• Creates lift plans.
• Manages off-rents to include: communicating with supporting staff regarding the date ending and communicating with the salesman and dispatcher for pickup.
• Assist salesman with collection calls and delinquency notices.
• Assists dispatcher in coordinating jobs.
• Maintains utilization of cranes.
• Assures completion of job cycle.
• Maintains crane and operator certifications.

• Quoting customer on call in jobs on FC&C.
• Entering customer call in jobs into FC&C.
• Entering quotes in FC&C for salesperson if called in from job.
• Entering jobs in FC&C for salesperson if called in from job.
• Sending credentials to salesperson, customer, or rental coordinator when needed that are in the FC&C system.
• Backing up dispatcher if he/she needs help with entering jobs in FC&C.
• Composing Lift Plans on 3-D Lift Plan and saving to FC&C to actual job.
• Change unit status on FC&C if unit is changing from day trade to bare rental.
• Making sure addresses are entered correct on jobs for tax purposes.
• Ensure information on the job tickets is accurate.
• Help answer office phones.
• Create dual lift paperwork and obtain approval.
• Request purchase orders for internal processes like street closures, third party inspections, etc.
• Maintain crane, spreader bar, and man basket certifications.
• Maintain alarm codes for the building employees.

• Must be proficient with basic computer skills.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be proficient in 3-D Lift Plan.
• Must have proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some travel is required.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.

• Prefer candidates with at least an associate's degree and 2 years of experience working in an office environment.
