Account Executive, Business Sales - Southern VA/NC/OBX

Job Overview The Account Executive, Business Sales role at T‑Mobile focuses on building customer relationships with small businesses (1‑9 employees). The role involves prospecting, cold‑calling, networking, lead generation, and closing deals within an assigned geographic territory, using solution‑based selling to demonstrate T‑Mobile’s value. Job Responsibilities Generate and manage leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision. Identify customer needs and use solution‑based selling to demonstrate T‑Mobile’s value. Recommend wireless solutions, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories. Negotiate and close deals. Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management through product training and sales meetings. Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals. Utilize sales force automation, manage sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts. Maintain and grow the customer base within a territory model. Education and Work Experience High School Diploma/GED (Required) Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) 1+ year verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Preferred) Outside B2B sales experience (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Task management ability to work well in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment that requires a high degree of multi‑tasking (Required) Customer service experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail (Required) Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required) Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem‑solving (Required) Licenses and Certifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel Travel required: Yes Compensation & Benefits Total target cash pay range: $71,700 – $129,500 (inclusive of target incentives) Base pay range: $43,020 – $77,700 Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; flexible spending account; 401(k); employee stock grants; employee stock purchase plan; paid time off; holidays; parental and family leave; childcare subsidy; tuition assistance; college coaching; disability coverage; voluntary life and long‑term care insurance; mobile service and home internet discounts; pet insurance; commuter and transit programs.
