Data ArchitectDominion Energy is seeking an experienced Data Architect to help design and evolve an enterprise level data platform that supports current business needs and future solutions. The platform already exists, but this role will focus on architecting enhancements and future ready designs, then partnering with Data Engineering teams for implementation.Design dimensional data models and end to end data pipeline architecturesOwn data architecture from concept to solution, including table design and data flowDefine architectural standards and hand off designs to Data Engineering teams for executionEnsure seamless data availability with minimal gaps across systemsWork closely with business stakeholders (especially Marketing and business teams) to understand requirements and clearly explain data solutions and team capabilitiesApply strong data warehousing principles across enterprise data solutionsSupport data governance best practices (quality, consistency, usability)4+ years of experience in Data ArchitectureStrong data warehousing background (mandatory)Experience with Snowflake and Oracle is a major advantageKnowledge of modern data engineering workflows and pipelinesExposure to Python or R and any Data Science work is a plusExcellent communication skills (this role involves frequent stakeholder interaction)Ability to translate business needs into technical solutionsComfortable presenting and representing the data team to business partners
