Mental Health Technician

MHT I Under immediate supervision, performs beginning level duties on a cottage in the direct care of residents, i.e., bathing, personal hygiene, heavy lifting, heavy carrying and pushing wheelchairs, assists in implementing residents’ habilitation plans. Requires a minimum of 9 months experience as a Mental Health Technician Trainee. Requires successful completion of the facility Mental Health Technician I Training Program. MHT II Under direct supervision, performs journeyman level duties on a cottage in the direct care of residents, i.e., bathing, personal hygiene, heavy lifting, heavy carrying and pushing wheelchairs; implements residents’ habilitation plans. Requires a minimum of 1 year experience as a Mental Health Technician I. Requires successful completion of the Facility Mental Health Technician II Training Program.
