Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Provides direct patient care in medical-surgical or telehealth units, ensuring high-quality nursing services and patient safety. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care aligned with patient needs and facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient condition to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Perform EKG examinations and ensure pass during orientation to continue with the contract.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and document responses for ongoing evaluation.
  
  
• 
  Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility and compliance with facility policies.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control standards and maintain patient safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid California RN license in hand at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical-surgical or telehealth nursing.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 36 or 48-hour shifts, including some holidays.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to work in a float position with flexible hours.
