About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting License: Active RN license in a non-compact state or active multi-state RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic charting experience required Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills Ability to provide rapid response and manage isolation precautions Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. The shift will consist of three 12-hour night shifts. The candidate should have experience in telemetry and understanding of dysrhythmias. Candidates will be responsible for IV therapy, blood product administration, and line care management. They will provide respiratory support and administer oxygen as needed. Experience with rapid response teams and code management is essential. The unit predominantly serves adult and geriatric patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. The role involves caring for hospitalized patients with medical and renal diagnoses, among others. It may require floating to areas within the skill set as necessary. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and one holiday during the contract duration. Medical and religious exemptions for vaccination requirements may be considered. All requests for time off must be provided upfront. Each submission must include confirmation of commitment to the start date. Candidates should reside outside of the specified radius of the facility to qualify as travelers. A minimum one-year gap is required for previous employees returning to work in this capacity. Documentation compliance is required prior to the start of the assignment.
