Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' mental health and emotional states to understand their unique needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual, couple, or family issues, drawing from evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that cater to a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Conduct couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering deeper connections between partners.

• Regularly review and modify treatment plans based on each client's progress and evolving needs.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare providers to coordinate care that addresses the client's holistic needs.

• Act as a crisis responder, providing immediate support and intervention for clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a varied patient population, primarily consisting of individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. Therapists will engage with clients seeking support for a wide array of issues, including relationship problems, grief, emotional distress, and life transitions. The ability to relate to clients with empathy and understanding is essential for effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
