Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing various diagnostic tools and client interviews.

• Formulate personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, respecting their individual goals and preferences.

• Deliver engaging individual therapy sessions addressing a multitude of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate couples therapy aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening their relationships using evidence-based methods.

• Regularly monitor client progress by reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal care that meets their evolving needs.

• Maintain thorough and accurate client documentation, including progress notes and treatment reviews, adhering to all compliance requirements.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with health professionals to provide comprehensive care, interpreting findings and integrating feedback into therapy.

• Respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations, offering immediate support and intervention when required.

• Stay updated on the latest research in marriage and family therapy, integrating new techniques into practice.

• Prioritize ethical considerations by safeguarding client confidentiality and adhering to all established legal and moral guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing unique challenges in their mental healthcare journey. Your role will involve tailoring therapy approaches to fit individual backgrounds, cultures, and issues, ensuring that every client feels heard, understood, and empowered.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) recognized by the State Board.

• Proven experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic methodologies.

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and the completion of necessary documentation.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years doing clinical work with diverse populations, emphasizing both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
