Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being to establish a clear understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to interpersonal conflicts.
\n
• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics.
\n
• Conduct regular evaluations to track clients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to respond to changing circumstances and achievements.
\n
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in marriage and family therapy.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ rights and encourage their involvement in the development of their treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will range from teens to adults, including couples facing relational challenges and individuals dealing with a variety of psychological conditions. The focus will be on delivering therapeutic approaches that resonate with our clients’ unique circumstances and goals. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State of New York.

• Experience providing individual and/or couples therapy is essential.

• Proven skills in developing client assessments, treatment plans, and maintaining timely documentation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy services, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
