As a Lean Manufacturing Project Manager, you'll spearhead continuous improvement projects, lead Kaizen events, implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and collaborate across departments to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance performance. This role is ideal for a Green Belt-certified professional with project management experience who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing change, and making a visible impact in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment.The Lean Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for leading and designing Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. This role will manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement by using Lean methodologies and tools to accomplish business objectives.Responsibilities:Develops, implements, and controls standard work for all departmentsDeliver manufacturing enhancements that result in cost reductions, OEE improvements, operational diligence, and increased capacityLeads Kaizen events and drives continuous improvement activitiesConduct value stream mapping to enhance the flow of materials and informationManage projects and problem solving with lean six sigma tools such as (but not limited to) DMAIC, Kaizen, PDCA, and 5S/6SDaily, Weekly, and Monthly report out of all continuous improvement effortsRecommend enhancements for layout, safety, and equipment upgradesEnsure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresMentor/Coach employees with the result in an increase in the number of those Green Belt certifiedPlans and budgets all continuous improvement efforts without disrupting the plant's goalsMust be knowledgeable and stay current on multiple department's processesCollaborate with department heads to understand needs and opportunitiesFlexing work schedule to support the off shiftsPerforms other duties as requiredEducation and Experience:Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Level of Degree in the Engineering or related technical discipline field of study3+ years of demonstrated experience in project management working in a technical disciplineKnowledge of the US and International Medical Device and Drug Delivery RegulationsSix Sigma Green Belt certification requiredKnowledge of product development lifecycle, including software and or disposable developmentPreferred Skills and Competencies:Strong communication skillsProficiency in project management, planning and organizing.Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.Ability to foster teamwork to work cooperatively and effectively with team membersDemonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced, growth industry and work environmentWorking knowledge of: MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.Proficient with Medical Device regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, 21 CFR part 820.30-Design Controls).Ability to present to varying levels of the organizationStrong ability to set goals and timelinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Proficiency in SolidWorksPhysical Requirements (if applicable):Willing/Able to stand and walk up to 75% of the dayFlexible with work schedule as working off shifts is necessaryAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. as neededNOTE: This position requires on-site working (requires on-site office/plant/lab work).Compensation & Benefits:For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $90,500.00 - $135,800.00. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
