Emergency Department Registrar

Job Summary


Our client is seeking an Emergency Department Registrar to join their team. The primary responsibilities include greeting patients, triaging, collecting demographics, verifying insurance information, and completing the registration process in the Emergency Room while utilizing EPIC.


Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and triage in an efficient manner.
• Collect patient demographics and verify insurance information.
• Complete the registration process in the ER using the EPIC system.
• Move bedside and remain mobile within the department.
• Desire to work with a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Skills

• Strong insurance verification skills or registration experience.
• Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a face-to-face environment, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• EPIC system experience is strongly preferred; training will be provided.

Additional Requirements


Willingness to train on the morning shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
