Join a healthcare team as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse, providing patient-centered care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing support. Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and support recovery. Candidates must have at least two years of acute care PCU nursing experience.

• Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Schedule: Night Shift, rotating weekends
• Night Shift Differential: Additional $4.25/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 previously listed; confirm current availability
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting changes in condition.
• Perform nursing procedures as ordered by healthcare providers.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care as required.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care PCU RN experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
