Progressive Care RN – PCU
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547
Setting: Acute Care / Progressive Care
Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: Nights, Rotating Weekends
Pay: $27.72–$39.60/hr
Differential: +$4.25/hr nights
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 through 9/25
Relocation: Case-by-case

Summary

Permanent PCU RN opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL, working nights with rotating weekends.
The position provides progressive-level care to cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Candidates must have 2 years of acute-care PCU RN experience and an Associate Degree in Nursing.
Pay includes a night differential and $10K sign-on bonus, with relocation assistance available case-by-case.

Position Overview

• Provide nursing care to progressive-care patients.
• Assess patients on admission and throughout each shift.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Perform procedures ordered by providers.
• Care for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• 2 years acute-care PCU RN experience required
• Active RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS within 30 days
• ACLS within 90 days

Candidate Fit

Best suited for an RN with 2+ years of acute-care PCU experience , particularly cardiac or medical-surgical progressive care.
