Oncology Care RN – Med-Surg | Night Shift
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547
Setting: Acute Care / Medical-Surgical Oncology
Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: Nights, Rotating Weekends
Pay: $27.72–$39.60/hr
Differential: +$4.25/hr nights
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 through 9/25
Relocation: Case-by-case

Summary

Permanent Med-Surg Oncology RN opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL, offering nights with rotating weekends.
The role involves caring for medical-surgical and oncology patients, administering treatments, monitoring conditions, and providing patient education.
Candidates need 1 year of RN experience, but acute-care experience is not required.
LTAC and SNF experience may be considered , along with other nursing backgrounds.

Position Overview

• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and oncology patients.
• Collect and assess comprehensive patient information.
• Develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient condition and treatment response.
• Educate patients and families.
• Advocate for patient safety.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• 1 year RN experience required
• Acute-care experience not required
• LTAC experience may be accepted
• SNF experience may be accepted
• Active RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS within 30 days
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Administration within 18 months

Candidate Fit

Suitable for RNs with 1+ year of experience , including candidates from LTAC, SNF, acute care, or other nursing settings .
