Job Overview: At Fusion, we are looking for an experienced Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing team located at our Westchester, IL Office. Our ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of freight brokerage and operations, knowledge in vetting and booking carriers. This position is onsite in-person, Monday to Friday. Starting annual rate is $50,000.00+ Responsibilities: Perform freight services according to company and government regulations. Create, coordinate, and manage pick-up and delivery schedules, coordinating with shippers, carriers, dispatchers, and customers. Monitor all routes and schedule backhauls with same trucks to utilize max. cost of the daily route. Track and report shipment status of loads. Properly vet carriers to securely broker freight . Coordinate logistics for projects coming from multiple customer sites and vendors. Develop and m aintain strong relationships with multiple carriers. Maintain accurate records of all activity, ensuring freight paperwork is complete and approved prior to transportation. Resolve freight discrepancies and keep relevant parties apprised. Respond to customer concerns and queries in a timely , professional manner.
