WesCEF Electrical/Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Vacation Program - 2026/2027 Applications are now open to support our Vacation work opportunities to support Electrical Engineering students in their penultimate year of study. This is a 12‑week paid Vacation Program that will commence from late November 2026 through to mid‑February 2027. What does our program offer Turn theory into practice – solve real business challenges through our impactful 12‑week program. Build your technical knowledge through practical operational experience and dedicated mentoring and support. With our world‑class production facilities in Kwinana, you don’t have to work fly‑in, fly‑out to get the best hands‑on‑experience. Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering disciplines invited to apply for placements commencing in late November 2026. Develop highly sought after skills for future employment including safety, commercial, communication, presentation and influencing skills. Implement and improve your technical skills and knowledge in a hands‑on engineering work environment. Work on meaningful and relevant projects that will have a direct impact on our business; you will also have the opportunity to present your project to our leadership team. Join our supportive engineering team and gain invaluable experience from recent graduates, engineers, operators and technical services teams. Work closely with your mentor who will guide and assist you during the program. Collaborate with and build lasting relationships with other WesCEF vacation engineering students. Placements CSBP AAN – production of ammonia gas, ammonium nitrate solid and liquid as well as emulsion products. Kleenheat – gas production – LNG and LPG. Australian Gold Reagents – sodium cyanide production (liquid & solid). CSBP Fertilisers – a range of liquid and solid fertiliser and nutrient products. WesCEF Technical and Operational Services. About You You will be an engineering student in your penultimate year. You enjoy working with a broad range of internal stakeholders and thrive in an inclusive, collaborative and innovative environment with a strong safety culture. You value the opportunity to build on your commercial and safety focus, attention to detail, innovative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo. You have a passion for your field of Engineering. You can communicate clearly and possess well‑developed verbal and written communication skills.
