Job Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Experience: Minimum 2+ years as Respiratory Therapist
License: RRT required (CRT will be considered with extensive experience)
Certifications: BLS required; NRP required for NICU/PICU/Peds; PALS preferred


Must-Have:
- Critical care experience including airway and ventilator management
- ABG puncture and analysis
- Non-invasive ventilation
- Code blue and rapid response experience
- Inhaled medication administration


Description:
Urgent start needed.
Pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory.
Very critical care focused and protocol-driven respiratory therapy team.
Common patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, Cystic Fibrosis, ARDS, trauma/surgery, pneumonia, lung cancer, stroke, ALS, GBS, COVID-19, and RSV.
Adult only respiratory therapists must be comfortable working with adults if the position involves NICU/PICU/Peds as adult experience will be required.
Experience with Oscillator 3100, Sensormatic, and Drager ventilator would be helpful for candidates to be successful.
Float to other trained units only.
Weekend rotation is required every other weekend.
Voluntary call may be required, two hours before and after the shift start time.
Holiday assignments will be made unless otherwise stated in the contract.
Any professional scrub color or pattern is acceptable.
