Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

Respiratory Therapist Opportunity in Salem, MA

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Salem, MA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC. (Required)
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license in good standing. (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with ventilator experience in an acute care setting. (Required)
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases. (Required)
• BLS certification. (Required)
• Experience with PB980 and Hamilton T1 transport ventilators. (Preferred)
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical record system. (Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in Med/Surg, MICU, or ED environments. (Preferred)
• Previous experience in a 200+ bed hospital setting or similarly sized acute care facility. (Preferred)

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–07:30.
• Position works nights; rotation to alternate 11:00–23:00 shift may occur when needed.
• Clinician-to-patient staffing reference: typically 4 therapists on nights; staffing levels differ by shift.
• EMR system: EPIC.
