Customer Team Leader (District Sales Manager), Vaccines - Eastern PA

Job Overview The Customer Team Leader (CTL) is a field‑based sales management position responsible for covering the Eastern Pennsylvania district, including Philadelphia, Lancaster, Allentown, Norristown, and Reading. The role may require up to 25% regular overnight travel per month and prefers the ideal residence to be within the sales district. Responsibilities Lead and manage Customer Representatives in identifying customer needs. Coach representatives, oversee training, and complete people management processes to develop and resource the customer team to address customer needs. Candidate Attitude & Behaviors Strong leadership skills with experience leading teams through change and new challenges using situational coaching and emotional intelligence. Self‑starter comfortable working in and leading a team through ambiguity, with the capacity to envision what can be for this new organization. Communicate with courage and candor as the engagement model evolves for this customer segment. Customer‑centric mindset with skills to listen to customers and understand their objectives and overall relationship with the broader organization. Lead by example by modeling flexibility, candor, and willingness to respond during times of change while maintaining a positive attitude. Demonstrated account planning and management skills and strong collaboration with extended teams toward common goals. Minimum Requirements BA/BS degree with 6‑8 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of equivalent experience, with at least 4 years in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries (preferred). Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel the amount of time the role requires. Preferred Experience Minimum of 3 years experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations. Minimum of 2 years experience working in Marketing, Managed Care, or Sales support areas within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience selling in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industry. Previous field sales management experience. Capability to establish relationships and networks within a customer organization. Vaccines experience. Eligibility for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
