HR Intern

OVERVIEW

At Alo, the HR Intern is a student or recent graduate responsible for supporting the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational initiatives. This role provides hands‑on exposure to core HR functions including onboarding and HR operations. The intern will collaborate closely with the HR team while gaining practical experience in a fast‑paced, people‑focused corporate environment. The 8‑week internship program starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with onboarding coordination including new hire paperwork, orientation preparation, and employee file management. Maintain accurate and organized employee records in HR systems and shared drives. Assist with HR reporting and data entry related to headcount, turnover, and other people metrics. Help prepare HR documents such as offer letters, employment verification letters, and policy acknowledgments. Conduct research on HR best practices and support ongoing HR projects and process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related degree program. Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or People Operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Previous internship or campus leadership experience is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of professionalism. Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute in a team‑oriented environment. Comfort working with data and HR systems.

COMPENSATION
