The compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including their educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience. Job Overview: The surgical technician will work closely with the perioperative registered nurse as part of a team to provide tailored, age-appropriate care to patients. This role involves maintaining a safe environment that promotes positive patient outcomes and ensuring that patients' physiological responses during surgery align with expectations within the surgical suite and the broader perioperative division. Qualifications: Required: High School diploma or equivalent Completion of an OR Technician training program 2 to 3 years of relevant experience Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently Certifications and Licenses Required: Certification as a Surgical Technician is mandatory Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is required Scheduling Requirements: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Availability for every other weekend and holidays Full-time position Benefits and Perks: Our organization offers a competitive Total Rewards package that includes a wide range of benefits and resources aimed at supporting the physical, emotional, social, and financial well-being of our employees.
