Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CSTAmerican Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position supporting multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general, neuro, and robotics.Short term acute care hospital with 325 staffed bedsRotates through orthopedic, general, neuro, thoracic, vascular, GYN, urology, robotics, and ENT casesRobotics experience preferred (daVinci & Mako)Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PMWeekend shifts will be scheduled and requiredOn-call required, up to 5 shifts per month including possible weekend callEpic EMR used for chartingMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical TechnologistBLS certification requiredWA state license required if applicableCompact license must be in hand at time of considerationEpic charting experience preferredProficiency in aseptic technique and instrument processingExperience with a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures preferredSupports surgical procedures across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neuro, vascular, GYN, urology, ENT, and thoracic surgeryMay be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted siteFirst-time travelers will be consideredCandidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contractReturning former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facilityAll RTO requests must be submitted up front at time of considerationMust be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
