Technical Sales RepresentativeAston Carter is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for a growing manufacturing organization in the Kansas City area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, automation, or technical sales who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting customers with value-added solutions.ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell aftermarket parts, service programs, equipment upgrades, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.Proactively identify customer needs and uncover new sales opportunities.Prepare quotes, proposals, and supporting sales documentation.Follow up on customer inquiries and open opportunities to drive business growth.Utilize CRM and sales data to track opportunities and customer activity.Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Service, Engineering, Operations, and Sales.Provide exceptional customer support and timely communication throughout the sales process.Qualifications2+ years of experience in technical sales, inside sales, customer support, aftermarket sales, or industrial equipment sales.Experience within a manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, or automation environment preferred.Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.Experience working with CRM and ERP systems.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions effectively.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay plus commission opportunities.Contract-to-hire position with long-term career potential.Collaborative team environment.Opportunity to work with a respected manufacturing organization.Professional growth and development opportunities.If you have worked in manufacturing, industrial equipment, technical sales, or a related field and are looking for your next opportunity, we encourage you to apply today.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, MO.The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $41.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
