This is an on-site position that is responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service from 6am until 3pm M-F. Inside Sales works cooperatively with outside sales, project managers, quotation specialists, and other members of the distribution team to ensure seamless order and service experience. This role builds relationships by understanding new and existing customer needs and by providing personalized value-added support. This role works to exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. Inside Sales provides related services to customers and performs on a professional level for JHL adhering to and implementing the corporate mission, philosophy, culture goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.What’s In It For You?Highly competitive benefits packageMedical, Dental, Vision401kLife insuranceShort- and Long-Term DisabilityHealth Saving Account with employer matchCritical Illness & Accident InsuranceEmployee assistance programPTO and 9 paid holidays, as well as your birthday!And more!Responsibilities Include:Write orders for customers and cross-sell to promote additional products that align with customer needs.Answer questions, research and problem solve customer orders and respond to digital orders via phone, email, text etc.Oversee submittal, shipping, expediting, and billing processes on jobs.Identify and qualify potential customers through cold calls, emails, or inbound inquiries and grow customer relations through site visits and other customer engagement events.Participate in market planning and implementation of market strategies, sales meetings, vendor training and vendor representative engagement.Partner with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.Provide feedback to management on pricing, service, products, customer needs etc.Coverage for Counter Sales.EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDAssociate’s degree in business or tech school preferredExperience and/or Training2 years related sales experience (knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC components is preferred)Ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutionsStrong customer service and problem-solving skillsBasic math skills, including working with fractions and decimalsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilitiesAnalytical thinking and sound decision-making skillsTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functionsSelf-motivated, persistent, and results-driven2 years in a customer service role preferredWholesale distribution experience preferredComputer experience with different order management systems (Eclipse knowledge preferred)Licenses/CertificatesValid US Driver’s license and/or reliable transportationWe are committed to providing salary ranges for open positions.
