The Role This is a hands‑on executive sales role focused on new business development. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll own the U.S. commercial strategy while maintaining an active field presence. Success will be measured by customer acquisition, revenue growth, strategic account development, and long-term partnerships. This role is designed for an executive who enjoys building business rather than managing existing accounts. Once business is secured, implementation and ongoing customer support are managed by dedicated operational teams. Key Responsibilities Developing and executing a proactive sales strategy to acquire new clients across the company's core service lines, including warehousing, distribution, drayage, transloading, and integrated supply chain solutions. Generating new business opportunities by leveraging your established industry network. Identifying and engaging key decision‑makers at target accounts through direct outreach and industry relationships. Partnering with executive leadership to shape service positioning and develop new commercial opportunities and growth initiatives. Qualifications Warehousing & distribution industry experience: 15+ years of experience specifically within the warehousing, distribution, and integrated logistics sector. Experience exclusively in freight forwarding or NVOCC environments is unlikely to align with this position's requirements. Active, portable network: Dedicated years cultivating relationships with decision‑makers at manufacturers, importers, and distributors. Hands‑on, field‑oriented selling: Willingness to visit clients, attend industry events, and build relationships personally. Not suitable for individuals who delegate business development responsibilities. Senior‑level hunter mentality: Combines the drive of a hunter with credibility, relationships, and commercial instincts developed through years of success. Entrepreneurial and results‑driven: Thrives on autonomy, sets own priorities, and measures success based on new clients and increased revenue. Bilingual (English & Spanish): Fluency strongly preferred to effectively serve diverse Florida business market. Executive presence: Comfortable presenting to and working alongside C‑suite leadership. Communicates with confidence, credibility, and precision. Target Markets The company serves a broad range of industries and commodity types across the U.S. Market. Primary market will be Florida with national scope across key U.S. distribution hubs. Ideal candidate will already have established relationships in several of these verticals and will be able to activate them from day one.
