Role Description The Family Law Attorney will handle a variety of family law matters, including intake consultations, case assessment, and ongoing client communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, conducting legal research, and managing case files from inception through resolution. The attorney will represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions, and collaborate with staff to ensure timely and accurate case progression. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Houston, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience in Family Law and related Legal Issues. Ability to draft, file, and argue Motions effectively in family court and related proceedings. Experience preparing for and conducting Depositions, including client, expert, and fact witness examinations. Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the state bar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and respectfully. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment. Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
