Partners with employees and leaders to administer HR programs, respond to workplace concerns, maintain accurate records, and promote consistent application of company policies and employment practices. Essential Functions: Serves as a primary HR resource for assigned departments by responding to employee and manager questions and providing guidance on policies, procedures, and HR programs. Supports employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting concerns, assisting with investigations, and escalating complex or high-risk issues as appropriate. Coordinates onboarding, orientation, status changes, transfers, promotions, and separations to support an accurate and consistent employee experience. Partners with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on workforce needs, candidate coordination, offer preparation, and pre-employment activities, as assigned. Administers leave, attendance, accommodation, performance management, and corrective action processes within assigned scope, in partnership with HR leadership and subject-matter experts. Maintains accurate employee data and personnel records in HR systems; prepares routine reports, reviews data for discrepancies, and follows established document-retention requirements. Supports benefits, compensation, payroll, training, engagement, and compliance initiatives by coordinating communications, collecting information, and resolving routine issues. Assists with policy implementation, employee communications, training delivery, and HR projects that support business and workforce priorities. Monitors assigned HR activities for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements and raises potential concerns promptly. Builds effective working relationships with employees and leaders while handling confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment. Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities. Required Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of core human resources practices and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Ability to interpret and consistently apply policies, procedures, and established HR practices. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels. Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information. Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to research issues, analyze information, maintain accurate documentation, and recommend practical next steps. Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office or comparable business applications. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 2-3 years of progressive human resources experience supporting multiple HR disciplines required. Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environment preferred. Professional HR certification, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred. Primarily works in a professional office environment with regular interaction across office, warehouse, and manufacturing settings. Occasional travel to other company locations, recruiting events, training programs, or business meetings may be required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Must be able to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information with employees and business partners. Must be able to move throughout office, warehouse, and manufacturing areas and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
