Job Title: Fleet Operations Documentation Specialist
Location: Hollywood, FL

Schedule: Fully onsite Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duration: 3-Month Contract With possible Ext

Pay Rate: $30-35/hr

Position Overview:
The Fleet Management department is seeking a Fleet Operations Documentation Specialist to support a short-term project focused on updating and standardizing departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). This individual will work directly with Fleet leadership and staff across multiple units to review current processes, gather operational information, and rewrite documentation to improve consistency and efficiency across the department.
This is a highly collaborative, process-focused role ideal for someone with experience in operational documentation, SOP development, technical/process writing, or administrative process improvement environments.

Responsibilities:

• Meet directly with Fleet department staff and unit leaders to understand existing operational workflows and procedures
• Review, revise, and standardize SOPs and departmental documentation
• Document operational processes clearly and accurately for internal use
• Organize and update process documentation related to fleet operations and procedures
• Ensure documentation is user-friendly, consistent, and aligned across the department
• Collaborate with approximately 12 team members within the Fleet department throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with process improvement and documentation organization initiatives as needed
  Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, SOP documentation, process documentation, or operational writing environments
• Strong MS Office experience required
• Experience working with documentation imports and administrative systems preferred
• Exposure to ADO or similar documentation/tracking tools is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and translate processes into written documentation
• Experience within fleet operations, logistics, government, transportation, public works, or operational environments is a plus but not required

• This role is focused on operational documentation and SOP development rather than administrative support functions
