Accounting Manager (Nashville Metropolitan Area)

I am looking for an Accounting Manager to join a private equity-backed manufacturing and distribution company in the Nashville area.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and quarterly close process end-to-end
• Manage and develop a small team
• Partner closely with the Controller and finance leadership on process improvement and AI-enabled initiatives within accounting
• Support ongoing AP/AR systems integration work
• Get up to speed on a complex, multi-brand, multi-channel business model
• Serve as a key partner in strengthening close discipline and controls as the company scales

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Direct ownership of a monthly/quarterly close process
• People management experience with at least two direct reports
• Public accounting audit background strongly preferred (Big Four or a strong national/regional firm)
• CPA strongly preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or durable/consumable goods industries
• Inventory experience a plus
