Key Responsibilities:

• Act as interim case manager for initial special education evaluations, overseeing all stages of the process.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret multi-source data to inform decisions.
• Prepare evaluation reports in full compliance with IDEA, state, and district standards.
• Support case managers with compliance and due process documentation per Minnesota Department of Education timelines.
• Review and provide feedback on due process documents to ensure program alignment.
• Verify that students have current IEPs and due process files, noting any compliance concerns.
• Supervise students during bus transitions and meal periods, and perform other assigned duties.
• Uphold MN Teachers Code of Conduct and maintain excellent relationships within the school community.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota teaching license in relevant Special Education fields.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications and office procedures.
• Successful completion of background and drug screening; authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 years administrative experience.
• Experience with ethnically diverse student populations in urban schools.
