Location: Greenville, South Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend (may vary based on need); floating required as needed

Highlights:

• 30-bed surgical specialty unit focusing on Vascular and Urology patient populations with overflow from General Surgery, Women's Specialty, and Medicine
• Non-cardiac monitored patients with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift with three support staff members
• Short average length of stay (1-2 days); patients admitted from PACU, ICU transfers, and Emergency Department
• Epic EMR system (minimum 1 year experience required)
• 24-hour orientation provided; reimbursement available for up to 16 hours of pre-assignment module completion
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience with medical-surgical and telemetry background
• Demonstrated experience with 5:1 patient ratios
• Vascular and Urology patient care experience required
• Epic EMR experience (minimum 1 year) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in wound care, wound VAC management, drain care, and dressing changes
• Competencies in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IV initiation and maintenance, PCA pumps, continuous bladder irrigation, and pre/post hemodialysis management
• Ability to pass EKG exam during pre-start modules
• Must meet distance requirements for travel assignments (specific mileage criteria apply)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
