About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Pay: $46 - $46/hour Location: Edison, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
