Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated RN to provide specialized care in the CVICU unit. The nurse will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in Epic.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas RN license or applicable state license.
• Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a cardiac ICU setting.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts, 19:00-07:00.
• Willing to comply with travel and onboarding requirements.
