Network Engineer (Bi-lingual Korean/English)Position SummaryMonitors, maintains, troubleshoots, and supports enterprise network infrastructure at the Samsung Biologics manufacturing facility, ensuring high availability in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. Works with experienced engineers, handles daily requests, participates in on-call rotation, and supports network implementation projects.ResponsibilitiesMaintain, troubleshoot, support Cisco switches/routers, PAN firewalls, F5 load balancers, Cisco wireless controllers/APsProactively monitor network performance to meet internal SLAsManage system requests/tickets including solution definition, deployment, documentationProvide onsite and after-hours support; participate in on-call rotationAssist in planning/executing infrastructure expansion, upgrades, equipment replacementsExecute lab tests for validating solutions, bug fixes, impact analysisCoordinate with external vendors and ISPs for escalation, maintenance windows, RMASupport inventory management, hardware staging, peer reviews, audits, IP assignmentMaintain documentation for LAN, Data Center, Wireless, firewalls, load balancersGenerate weekly operations updates and ad-hoc reportsAdhere to SOPs and change-control policiesRequirementsBi-lingual Korean/EnglishAssociate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fieldCurrent Cisco CCNA certification required2–3 years hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks (switching/routing)Solid understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, STP, VRF, IPv4 subnetting, 802.1x, TACACS+, Cisco IOS/NX-OSMust live within 1-hour driving radius of Rockville, MD, with onsite flexibilityStrong sense of responsibility, team-oriented mindset, excellent instruction-following skillsPreferred QualificationsPalo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer, or Cisco Wireless certifications5+ years enterprise network operations experienceUnix/Linux and scripting (Python, Ansible) for network automation
