Our client, an industry leader in gas turbine and compressor manufacturing, is seeking an Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the assembly and disassembly of critical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and technical proficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $20-$25 or DOE

What's the Job?

• Perform complete assembly or disassembly of gas turbine and compressor packages and related sub-assemblies.
• Develop and interpret technical assembly instructions, building methods, and sequencing of core compressor internals and auxiliaries.
• Inspect, repair, replace, install, and maintain mechanical components and assemblies for gas turbines and compressor packages.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, material control, and production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and procedures.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of relevant Gas Turbine and Compressor experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in assembly of rotating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred expertise in Siemens Energy turbomachinery equipment assembly, including SGT 100-400, A 35 / A 65 Gas Turbine, and RF and Datum range turbo compressors.
• Skilled in developing and interpreting technical assembly instructions, building methods, and sequencing of core compressor internals and auxiliaries.
• Ability to use micrometers, indicators, hand tools, air grinders, and overhead lifting devices safely and effectively.
